JUNIOR GOLF

Our Junior team got off to a good start this season by beating Pike Hills 2½ - 1½ in our first League match. Congratulations to Elliot Hayes and his team. Looking forward to more success throughout the season.

The Junior Section has now increased in playing numbers from 8, eighteen months ago, to 36 as of today. Welcome to all our new members.

We ran our first National Skills Challenge at the end of April and eleven of our juniors achieved bronze to gold certificates. We are looking forward to even more success when we run our second challenge at the end of June.

Currently there is Junior Coaching on a Tuesday, 5 – 7pm. If anyone is interested in joining please contact Irene, Brian or David or our professional, Simon Danby.

We welcome June Graham to our section. She will be joining Irene, David and Brian as an organiser.
